This 1/2" x 36-yard PTFE glass cloth tape combines a woven fiberglass backing with a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) coating to produce a 10 mil total thickness. The PTFE surface delivers release properties that prevent adhesive buildup and residue transfer on heated contact surfaces, reducing cleaning and maintenance downtime on heat-generating equipment.
At half an inch wide, this tape is purpose-built for narrow surface applications: wrapping heat sealing bars, insulating hot wire contacts, lining guide rails and chutes, and protecting other industrial surfaces where low friction and continuous high-temperature exposure are factors. Packaging lines, food processing equipment, textile machinery, and general manufacturing operations are common environments.
The woven fiberglass substrate provides dimensional stability and tensile strength that holds up under repeated thermal cycling. Each order contains 1 roll weighing approximately 0.76 lbs., and the compact roll format ships via parcel carrier.
